PERSONAL STATEMENT

I often see architecture as what Constantin Brancusi said, “an inhabited sculpture”, where it is not only visual but something you can touch, feel and reside in. As a young child, I had always enjoyed artistic and historical architecture, museums, churches, temples and anything that could give me insight into the history and the soul of place I visit.

People often think that architecture refers to buildings that force people to connect with each other, but the truth is, “it can only plan the crossing points, barriers, and make the meeting places useful and attractive.” – Denise Scott. It’s never hard to connect people to architecture as “people, ideas, objects and everything will eventually connect as the quality of the connections is the key to quality per se.” – Charles Eames.

Designing architecture that connects people is my main interest as I am often amazed by architectures designed by famous architects who could gather the attention of communities from all walks of life to paused for a moment, gather, enjoy and experience the architecture they design. I desire to contribute to designing fascinating buildings with quality spaces which will unite humanity in generations to come.

My efforts of study and conceptual metaphors are archived in this portfolio with the basic goal to design architectures which will connect and unite the communities for a better future.
